After a difficult year, it seems many aren’t bothering with setting themselves the usual ambitious New Year’s resolutions.
While people would normally be gearing up to try and lose weight or learn a new skill at this time of year, Twitter users from around the world have revealed their hilariously underwhelming goals for 2021.
The resolutions include ‘getting to Robert Dyas at some point this year’, to ‘stop having thoughts’ and one user who had some very aggressive plans for Matt Hancock.
One user admitted they simply wanted to get dressed more next year, while another decided she would start calling out people who aren’t wearing their face masks properly.

‘My New Year’s resolution is to yell at people who don’t wear their mask properly or at all,’ said Eden, from Los Angeles.
Another user admitted her goal for the year was to get her brother to break up with his girlfriend, while one person simply wanted everyone else to be nicer to him.
‘I’m not gonna make any New Year’s resolutions because I’m perfect, but I’m gonna recommend that a lot of you make new years resolutions to be nicer to me’, wrote a Welsh user.
