This step up in trip looks likely to suit and he is a huge player for his powerful yard.
2. Beyond The Law – Mouse Morris/J Barry (66-1)
Useful hurdler and he has run to a decent level over fences this year.
Doesn't find winning easy though and hard to fancy, despite fitting of headgear.

3. Chef Des Obeaux – Nicky Henderson/M J O'Hare (18-1)
Probably a bit of an under-achiever given his early promise.
Bounced back to winning ways last time and he could have a big run in him at a price.
4. Clondaw Cian – Sophie Doyle/Damien Skehan (200-1)
Well-beaten on his last two starts over hurdles.
Hardly had inspiring form over fences prior to that. Faces an impossible task.

5. Discorama – Paul Nolan/Barry O'Neill (6-1)
Looked set to serve it up to Ballyward at Naas when suffering a late fall.
Step up in trip looks sure to suit and he is a definite contender under his excellent jockey.
6. Gun Digger – Gordon Elliott/Lisa O'Neill (14-1)
Flattered by winning distance at Leopardstown two starts ago with two last-fence fallers.
Well held over 2m4f last time and others make greater appeal.
7. Impulsive Star – Neil Mulholland/Sam Waley-Cohen (16-1)
Stayed on strongly to win the Classic Chase at Warwick last time out under this rider.
He will stay all day and is a rock-solid each-way contender up in grade.
8. Jerrysback – Philip Hobbs/Declan Lavery (10-1)
Solid graded form the last twice, finding one too good at Ascot and Haydock.
He doesn't look to have been screaming out for this kind of stamina test, though.
9. Johanos – Nigel Hawke/Kieren Buckley (100-1)
Returned from a lay-off to finish a solid fourth at Newbury in December.
Lightly-raced but needs to find a huge amount of improvement to play a part.
10. Just Your Type – Charlie Longsdon/R James (40-1)
Made too many jumping errors when sixth in the Eider at Newcastle last month.
She did well to finish sixth in the circumstances and will stay this trip, but she did have a hard race that day.
11. Le Breuil – Ben Pauling/Jamie Codd (14-1)
Very useful performer who has some solid form over fences at this track.
The booking of top amateur Jamie Codd catches the eye, but there is a suspicion this trip will stretch him.
12. Mulcahys Hill – Warren Greatrex/N McParlan (33-1)
Well-beaten in the Grade 1 Scilly Isles after a wind op at Sandown last month.
History of breathing issues is a concern now tackling a marathon trip.
13. Ok Corral – Nicky Henderson/Derek O'Connor (10-3)
Has been prominent in the betting for this contest since bolting up at Warwick in January.
Ground conditions no concern and he has the services of a top rider. Big player.
14. Plantagenet – Seamus Mullins/Matthew Fielding (200-1)
Has been in cracking form over fences at a much lower level.
Only rated 122 and has a mountain to climb on these terms.
15. Skipthecuddles – Graeme McPherson/Lilly Pinchin (40-1)
Comfortably beat his sole rival on decent ground at Market Rasen latest.
This is a whole new kettle of fish and there is a strong suspicion he is at his best on better ground.
16. Warthog – David Pipe/R Deegan (100-1)
Came out on top in a farcical race at Sandown in December when over half the field failed to complete.
Has been found out in two starts since then and he is hard to fancy here.
17. Whisperinthebreeze – Jessica Harrington/Finian Maguire (66-1)
Gained a deserved success after a string of solid efforts when winning a big pot at Leopardstown.
Takes a huge step up in trip now and stamina is a real concern.
18. Atlanta Ablaze – Henry Daly/Will Biddick (14-1)
Talented mare easily won a three-runner contest at Wincanton last time.
She is worth a try at a trip like this and shouldn't be in receipt of weight.
