A TikTok user has gone viral after revealing she’d given herself a tattoo of Johnny Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez.

Jazzmyn Wollfe, from Canada, first shared the clip showcasing her new inking last week, and it has since amassed over 1 million views.

However, the 27-year-old has since been subjected to online scrutiny with  many left divided by the move.

The singer and songwriter called the backlash ‘insane’, and said she ‘just wanted it to be a symbol of strength’.

Jazzmyn Wollfe, from Canada, has gone viral after revealing she has given herself a tattoo of Johnny Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez

The hand-poke tattoo, which took only an hour to complete, was done with a nonelectric, freehand needle and ink to create the modern design.

In the video on @tattooedingenue, Jazzmyn tattooed the design of Vasquez in the courtroom with the word ‘Objection’ written underneath.

The lawyer became a public figure in her own right after she gained a lot of attention on social media for her cross-examination of Amber Heard during Johnny’s $50 million defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife.

Onlookers were particularly impressed with her repeated objections – 12 in ten minutes to be exact – that meant Amber Heard’s lawyer barely had time to finish her questions.

The actor claimed Amber’s 2018 Washington Post article included domestic abuse accusations that hurt his career.

Many believed Camille was even dating Johnny because they shared sweet glances and hugs throughout the trial, however a representative for the actor denied the relationship.

Speaking with Insider, Jazzmyn said she was ‘so impressed’ and ‘amazed’ by Camille’s confidence and she did the tattoo because she admires her.

However many people thought the ink trivialised the domestic abuse case.

With one person saying: ‘y’all treat this like some reality show…it’s a real life defamation case.’

Another claimed she had ‘made a mockery out of a domestic violence case’ by getting a tattoo of it.

Vasquez has won a massive online following after ‘grilling’ Amber Heard during cross-examination on Monday and Tuesday. But reports now suggest that she is in a serious relationship with a British realtor

Speaking with Insider , Jazzmyn said she was ‘so impressed’ and ‘amazed’ by Camille’s confidence and she done the tattoo because she admires her

She said she wanted to create the tattoo because of the way Camille conducted herself during the trial and she  wanted to ‘memorialize’ how she felt in that moment

She added that she was ‘deeply upset’ with some of the reactions she received on the app.

She said: ‘Many people have made assumptions about my own personal beliefs. They said that I’m advocating for abuse, and that couldn’t be farther from true.’

Speaking to Mail Online she said: ‘I received hundreds of comments and a ton criticism for supposedly treating the trial like a TV show, and taking being a ‘fan’ too far. The reality is, it wasn’t about that at all for me.

‘I don’t condone or participate in the minimization of the seriousness of not only male victimhood, or abuse at all.’

The singer said it is a ‘strange, intrinsically sexist belief’ that men can’t be abuse victims.

She said: ‘The way Camille conducted herself was very powerful. I wanted to memorialize how I felt in that moment watching her.’

The viral video also attracted positive comments with people applauding Jazzmyn’s meaning behind it

However, the 27-year-old has since been subjected to online backlash as many people were left divided by the move

She admitted the ink didn’t represent the trial itself but it was actually ‘a symbol of strength’ after she admired someone fighting back against an accused abuser.

She explained: ‘For me the tattoo represented a lot, particularly the strength and passion Camille possessed in her incredibly intelligent delivery of Amber Heard’s cross examination- traits of outspokenness and confidence that I wanted to remind myself to further implement in my life.’

The viral video also attracted positive comments with people applauding Jazzmyn’s meaning behind it, with one person saying: ‘Good for you and what it stands for. As for the haters, let it roll off. I think it’s awesome.

While another said: ‘I don’t know where the problem is, honestly. Camille is an intelligent, strong, powerful and honest soul. This tattoo of her is littt!’

The singer first sketched the design onto paper before transferring it to her skin to complete the tattoo with a needle and ink
