These old Disney VHS tapes could be worth thousands – do you own any?

In fact, a set of 10 original Disney video tapes are currently being sold on eBay for a whopping £14,000.

This includes Robin Hood, Cinderella, Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast, The Great Mouse Detective and The Rescuers: Down Under.

How much could your old Disney videos be worth?

Some tapes on eBay are priced at a reasonable £4 to £10 – depending on the appearance of the box and the date of release.

However, if you look for “rare Black Diamond” tapes on the website, the price will increase significantly.

The set, which includes 10 original Disney classics, is flogging for a staggering £14,000 online.

That’s right, you could own Robin Hood, Cinderella, Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast and others for £13,950.67.

The collection is part of the “rare Black Diamond tapes” which were released by Disney between 1984 and 1993.

This version of the tapes can be identified by “The Classics” logo, which is located on the upper spine of the case.

Even if you don’t own the full collection, a copy of Beauty & The Beast Black Diamond edition is on eBay for £318.13.

Or an even rarer version of the film with “collectable clamshell case and proof of purchase tag” is on sale for £7,973.21.

While an original Black Diamond Aladdin is being flogged for £795 and a copy of The Fox and The Hound is £1,036.52.
