Apple is lining up some of the biggest names in writing and acting for it’s latest TV project, “Lisey’s Story.”

Renowned author Stephen King will write and serve as executive producer for the eight-hour limited series, which will star Oscar winner Julianne Moore. King, who wrote the novel, will write every episode.

If those aren’t enough bold-face names, J.J. Abrams (“Star Wars” franchise) will serve as an executive producer, as will Moore and Ben Stephenson. The series, for the upcoming Apple TV+ streaming service, will be produced by Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions in concert with Warner Bros. Television.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported the new collaboration. USA TODAY confirmed the project.

“Lisey’s Story” is a thriller that follows the title character two years after her husband’s death. Events cause Lisey to start facing realities about her husband that she had repressed and forgotten.

“Lisey’s Story” is Apple’s third collaboration with Abrams and Bad Robot. Other projects for Apple TV+ include “Little Voice,” which includes singer Sara Bareilles as an executive producer, and “My Glory Was I Had Such Friends,” with executive producer Jennifer Garner in a starring role.
