Steph Curry involved in multi-vehicle car crash

Steph Curry appeared to be unhurt after he was involved in a multi-vehicle collision in Oakland.

The Golden State Warriors star was pictured beside his jet-black Porsche Panamera pulled up on the side of Highway 24.

There was considerable damage to the bumper of his £110,000 motor, which was seen hanging to the floor.

An ambulance was scene at the scene but Curry, pictured with his hood up, appeared to be unhurt as he was stood opposite a law enforcement officer.

The incident happened in the morning ahead of the NBA champions’ match with Portland Trail Blazers.

Fortunately, reports suggested that Curry, 30, was unharmed in the incident and had reported for Warriors duty as per normal.

Bay Area journalist Logan Murdock, who covers the Warrirors for The Mercury News/Bay Area News Group, tweeted: "I’m told Stephen Curry – who was in a car crash this morning – is in the facility and fine."

Local reports revealed that the collision occurred around 9am on Friday morning on the westbound Highway 24, on the Oakland side of the Caldecott Tunnel.

Curry was seen describing the accident to police officers at the side of the road and did not show any signs of injuries.

The California Highway Patrol claimed that adverse weather is likely to have played a role in the accident, which saw Curry’s car hit twice.

Curry was first hit by a vehicle which had spun out and hit his car before a second car rear-ended him and damaged his luxury Porsche.

Fans on Twitter posted messages of relief after learning Curry was not injured.

One wrote: "Glad you’re good man".

Another said: "Glad to hear Steph Curry is alright after car crash, glad nothing major."

Guard Curry is currently recovering from an unrealted groin injury and is not scheduled to appear in Golden State Warriors game against the Trail Blazers.

But despite the incident, in which he thankfully walked away unharmed, he still managed to arrive at the Warriors’ Oracle Arena home.
