If four “Star Wars” movies in the last few years hasn’t sated your thirst for all things from a galaxy far, far away, you’re in luck.
Saturday marks the annual May the Fourth Be With You day, and there’s no shortage of fun, themed events around town. And this year’s celebration comes just a few days after the passing of Peter Mayhew, who played furry sidekick Chewbacca for decades.

Bar Crawl
Grab a costume — preferably an alien that can easily metabolize alcohol — and join other “Star Wars” fans for a movie-themed bar crawl through the East Village and beyond. The tour includes 11 watering holes. Drink enough and you might start to believe “The Phantom Menace” was actually good.

LEGO event
Kids ages 5+ and adults are invited to this beer hall for a STEM-themed LEGO lunch party. (Be sure to wear shoes, for multiple reasons.) Build stormtroopers and vehicles from the “Star Wars” movies. Admission includes two drinks for adults and snacks.

Yankees go Jedi
The first 40,000 through the gates will get a CC Sabathia Jedi bobblehead showing the New York ace wearing a brown robe and holding a lightsaber. Maybe Jedi mind tricks explains how he recently notched his 3,000th strike out.

The Force is definitely with the New York Public Library, as several branches around the city go all in for May 4th. Check your local branch for costume contests, movie screenings, BINGO games and more. St. George Library Center on Staten Island hosts an afternoon of family-friendly activities, including a chance to make your own lightsaber.
