Recently, Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause shocked fans by announcing to the world that she and her partner, Australian musician G Flip had just tied the knot.
Obviously, the news came unexpectedly, as there was no word about an engagement between the two. Instead, the loved up couple decided to do a Kravis and spontaneously get married in a ceremony while in Las Vegas.
Since then, there’s been more news on the union, as reports surfaced that the nuptials might not have actually been legitimate or official due to there being no marriage licence on file.
And when asked if she was “legally” married, Chrishell kind of dodged the subject, instead declaring that she didn’t care what other people thought. Respect, Chrish.
However, in other ‘did they or did they not get married’ news, it looks as though there’s a whole other layer to the situation. Specifically because Chrishell has been seen without her wedding ring.
Taking to Instagram to shut down the newly speculated breakup rumours, the reality star recorded a short video and posted it to her stories.
"Okay, so in case this is, you know, what the salacious headline was going to be, I’m just going to answer this right now and let you guys know,” Chrishell told her 3.7 million followers.
"It’s not going to be for what you would think. I’m happily married. Very happy,” she continued.
Then, in a completely unexpected explanation, Chrishell revealed that she’s not wearing her ring because she has gained weight, causing her ring size to change.
"I’m not wearing my ring because I have gained weight. I am fine with that.”
"Until I get it resized, or we’re thinking, now that everyone knows, and I can do, you know, a real ring without giving anything away, maybe that," she mused, before going ahead and clearing up the rumours for good.
"Anyways, long story short, if you see me without my ring, listen, I’m living my best life, and yeah, that’s why," Chrishell concluded.
The 41 year old has been back on Selling Sunset fan’s screens recently, following the drop of season six on Netflix last month.
Back in February, G Flip spoke to Vogue and clarified that they would be appearing on the show alongside now-wife, Chrishell, too.
"It's just a minor cameo," they revealed.
"It's not like me and Chrishell taking on the Sunset Strip. Nah, it's just like… in a couple of episodes. Nothing major. It's going to be cute."
