Scarlett Moffatt enjoys lavish family afternoon tea with at The Ritz as she poses with mum

Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt took her family out for afternoon tea to London’s most iconic hotel.

The TV personality looked glam as she headed to The Ritz for afternoon tea with her mum, dad, nanny, pappy and boyfriend.

She shared a series of photographs from the wholesome afternoon to her 2.3million followers on Instagram.

Scarlett stunned in a dark green dress which she paired with her classic red lip and a black Dior saddle bag.

In one of her snaps the I’m A Celeb champion was joined by her boyfriend Scott Dobinson, 37, who opted for a black three piece suit and matching tie.

All the others also dressed to impress, with her pappy looking dapper in a checked grey suit and her nanny in a gorgeous floral dress with sheer sleeves.

Her mum and dad looked unrecognisable from their days on telly, with Betty swapping her dark brown locks for a bright blonde long-bob.

In another lovely photograph, Scarlett poses with her mum and nanny in the fancy toilets.

Scarlett, 32, was sentimental as she captioned the post: “Always feel so lucky to be able to spend so much time with my nanny and pappy. We took them on a little midweek trip to The Ritz as this has been on the bucket list for a long time. Me and Nanny must have sung putting on the Ritz a million times.”

As one of London’s most exclusive hotels, The Ritz has a strict dress-code policy with men required to wear a dinner jacket.

It’s for a good reason too – the inside of the hotel is simply stunning and in one of Scarlett’s pictures you can see the lavish gold decor behind her beaming dad.

The Palm Court room, which is where they had afternoon tea, is adorned with ceiling high palm trees and huge chandeliers.

The charming experience, set in the middle of Mayfair, is one that’s been on Scarlett’s bucket list for some time – but it doesn’t come cheap.

Afternoon tea is priced at £70 per person for adults with a glass of bubbly costing £22 extra.

Some might argue that it’s definitely worth the price with three incredible layers of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam and mouth-watering cakes.

The Ritz is also the only hotel in the UK to have a certified Tea Master, Giandomenico Scanu, who travels around the world to find the 18 different types of loose-leaf tea that’s served in the afternoon.
