Salt Bae's London restaurant took the food industry by storm when it opened in September 2021.

The celebrity chef, whose real name is Nusret Gökçe, first became known for his signature salt-sprinkling technique.

Since then he's opened multiple Nusr-Et branches globally, although some locations haven't received rave reviews.

Now if you're desperate for the experience – and to say you've been to Salt Bae's restaurant – you can do it for cheap.

That's because the culinary mastermind has a burger bar in Istanbul, Turkey, where the prices are significantly less.

Multiple TikTok users have been sharing their experiences at Gökçe's joint, calling it #SaltBae.

Ali, who posts under @heymanfoodreviews, shared his visit which includes the same experience you'd get in London.

It includes a waiter injecting his burger with cheese before using a meat knife to squish it down and cut in two.

He said: "This was probably the best burger I've had in Istanbul."

What's more is the dish only cost him around £8.

"I find the Nusr-Et restaurant a bit overpriced but this, however, priced very well," Ali added.

Another TikTok user went to the burger joint which they rated 8/10.

The person also joked they got the "£100 Nusr-Et burger for just £7".

Meanwhile, TikTok user @silsantosr uploaded a clip of them being served by Salt Bae himself.

It shows the chef loading a gold-leafed burger with cheese before he does his iconic cutting and serving to the diner.

People said the prices seemed a lot more fair, with one writing: "These burgers are actually nice and well priced."

Another posted: "That burger actually looks banging."
