The Queen of The Netherlands was treated to a very warm welcomed as she visited a local school in Brasília this morning. 

Máxima, 52, is currently completing a three-day visit to Brazil as part of her role as Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Financial Inclusion and Development.

For her last day, she travelled to a public school in the Brazilian capital, where the schoolchildren welcomed her with plenty of cheers and a special bouquet of flowers, accompanied by her own baby doll. 

The royal, who is a mother-of-three, looked delighted by the enthusiasm of the young pupils who pulled her in for a group hug. 

For today’s joyous occasion, stylish Máxima opted for a pleated checked skirt and a blouse.

The Queen was all smile as she stepped out in the elegant ensemble for her last day in Brazil.

The fabric of the midi length skirt consisted of small off white and black chevrons with a small slit for ease of movement. 

The number was cinched at the waist with a big round belt.  

Her loose off white blouse was tucked into the skirt to emphasis her toned waist, and Máxima accessorised with a matching leather handbag and off white slip-ons heels that she also owns in pink for the occasion.

Her blonde locks where styled straight, with one side tucked behind her ear, and the mother-of-three donned her typical glamourous day makeup. 

She donned some bronzer and eyeliner with mascara for her trip to the school, and kept the makeup soft with a pink lipstick. 

Children all gathered around the royal as she arrived in their school. 

Far from minding the pupils’ effervescent reaction, Máxima welcomed the with open arms and beamed as more and more children came to greet her. 

The mother-of-three, who was handed a doll and flowers upon arriving at the school, seemed delighted by the attention 

She also obliged some star-struck young fans with selfies during the meet-up, before addressing both students and the school faculty in her speech.    

Máxima’s whirlwind visit to Brazil has been filled with meetings and events around the country. 

Yesterday, she met with Fintech companies at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Sao Paulo.

For the occasion, the busy mother-of-three donned a flattering blush pink suit. 

On Monday, she kicked off the trip with a business lunch with several bank representatives.

Queen Máxima has served as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA) since 2009.

She was appointed by former Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and in this role is a leading global voice on advancing universal access to and responsible usage of affordable, effective and safe financial services.

The Dutch Queen has been racking up air miles in recent days, travelling to Brazil on the heels of a trip to Jordan, where she attended the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein.

As per usual, she was effortlessly elegant in a blue floral gown as she arrived ahead of the nuptials last week.

Some children waved pompoms bearing the colours of the Brazilian flag during the Monarch’s visit to their school 

She opted for a V-neck gown with floaty sleeves for the occasion and was seen arriving at Zahran Palace in Amman arm-in-arm with her husband King Willem-Alexander, 56.

As the couple entered the Palace, they were greeted by Crown Prince Hussein’s proud parents King Abdullah II, 61, and Queen Rania, 52.

Máxima’s show-stopping dress featured billowing sheer sleeves – making it ideal for 31C temperatures today.

The stunning A-Line chiffon gown – which was cinched in at the waist with a ribbon – featured a dainty blue floral pattern.

What’s more, Máxima matched her accessories to the colour of her pretty summery dress.

The royal wore long silver necklace featuring an assortment of blue jewels and matching dangly earrings.
