Prince Harry Seems Less Stressed About Fatherhood Compared to Prince William

Becoming a parent isn’t easy, even if you have all the resourcesin the world at your disposal. But somehow, Prince Harry appears to be settlingintohis role as a new father better than anyone expected. He even appears to bemore well-adjusted to parenthood than his older brother, Prince William.

Of course, royal fans are only seeing the public image that these two royals are portraying, and only Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton really know what’s going on behind closed doors. But based on a couple of comments Prince William made compared to the things Prince Harry says, it’s sounding more and more like the Duke of Sussex is handling fatherhood with absolute ease.

Prince Harry is overjoyed at becoming a dad

Who can forget the pure excitement emanating from PrinceHarry when he made the official announcement of his son Archie Harrison’sbirth? That sweetmoment was followed up by several other heartwarming comments, includingcompliments for his wife’s strength during and after birth.

His new role of fatherhood also made Prince Harry acutelyaware of how important his role is in making the world a better place. Fourdays after his son was born, the Duke of Sussex said Archie gave him “a newfocus and goals in life.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry share parenting responsibilities

Royal fans were surprised to see one major difference during baby Archie’s first-ever photo call — instead of Meghan Markle cradling the baby, it was Prince Harry who came out holding his son. The photoshoot sent a clear statement that Harry was planning to be an involved figure in Archie’s life. So far that seems to still be true.

On their bigAfrican tour at a Waves for Change appearance, Meghan Markle said, “He’s thebest dad,” and Prince Harry immediately followed up with, “No, she’s the bestmom.” As if things could get any sweeter!

Prince William admits to being stressed about parenting

These glowing reviews of parenthood aren’t quite the same as what the Duke of Cambridge has said over the years.

When Archie was born, Prince William quipped about welcoming his brother into the “sleep deprivation society.” Back in 2013, he made another joke about caring for a newborn, saying, “I have to say that I thought Search and Rescue duties over Snowdonia were physically and mentally demanding, but looking after a three-week-old baby is up there!”

But to be fair, Prince Harry jokedabout losing sleep after becoming a father, too. While launching a newpartnership with Travalyst, Prince Harry said, “Havingspent last night here — I don’t know about you guys, but it was definitely the bestnight’s sleep I’ve had for the last 4 months!”

Both Prince Harry and Prince William are great dads

At the end of the day, it’s not acontest. Both Prince Harry and Prince William are stepping up and stayinginvolved in their children’s lives. And while the Duke of Sussex is adjustingto life with an infant, Prince William is ata different stage and dealing with two children in school plus one toddler.Sure, newborns are tough to handle, but at least there’s only one of them!

All joking aside, these two royal fathers may be sleep-deprived, but they’re certainly doing an excellent job raising the future of the British royal family.
