The video has amassed more than 15.6 million views as the mom-of-one – who recently gave birth to her son, Rocky – shared a behind-the-scenes look at the emergency room photo shoot

She captioned the viral clip: ‘Point of view: Baby’s coming early so you take your maternity photos in the hospital.

‘Textbook definition for iconic.’

In the video, she showed herself posing in front of the hospital curtain, on the bed and even shared a look at how her family set up the room to give her the most glamorous labor yet.

Jackie also shared footage of the nurse’s reaction, who couldn’t help but laugh.

She revealed that although she hadn’t planned to take her pregnancy snaps while in the hospital, she didn’t quite prioritize the shoot and realized it was too late when she began feeling contractions.

The mom-of-one explained to DailyMail.com: ‘I most definitely was not planning a hospital photo shoot.’

She also revealed both her mother and her sister, Lexi, were both photographers, so she knew the snaps needed to be special.

‘I am a medical student and had rotations scheduled up until my due date so between the chaos of pregnancy and school, I did not adequately prioritize the shoot,’ Jackie added.

‘They both texted me nearly every day asking if I had ordered a dress or when it would arrive so we could finally get our long-awaited maternity photos!’

Jackie even said that her mom and Lexi foreshadowed the event as they warned her that if she put it off any longer the baby would be born.

‘They warned me that if I waited long enough, the baby would eventually come and we would miss the opportunity entirely,’ she added.

And while the shoot was a lighthearted event, the 27-year-old shared that the moments leading up to it were some of the most stressful times of her life.

She explained that the day of her baby shower, she was 36 weeks pregnant and immediately noticed something was wrong.

‘The day of my baby shower at 36 weeks pregnant, I started noticing swelling in my hands, face, and feet. The next day, we took my blood pressure at home to find it was elevated, nearly 160/110, and rushed to OB triage where I was admitted to the high risk labor and delivery unit with preeclampsia,’ Jackie told DailyMail.com.

‘I was given steroids to help the baby’s lungs develop in preparation for an early delivery and was put on inpatient bedrest with continual monitoring of blood pressure and fetal heart tones until a planned induction at 37 weeks. ‘

And just as fate would have it, the day before she was set to be induced for her C-section, her maternity photo shoot gown arrived

However, because her baby’s heart rate was dropping every time she had a contraction, she became worried he ‘wouldn’t tolerate labor.’

‘I was worried about my baby and wanted him out. I stared at the monitors from my hospital bed all day and night for three days, watching his heart rate,’ Jackie admitted.

And just as fate would have it, the day before she was set to be induced, her maternity photo shoot gown arrived.

Then, her glam team got to work and surprised her with the news that the photo shoot was happening at that moment.

‘My mom and sister came to visit me in the hospital with makeup and curling irons and nail polish and said we were going to get that maternity photo shoot,’ Jackie told DailyMail.com.

Lexi and her mother set up the backdrop using the hospital’s shower curtain and ‘turned on the spotlights in the labor and delivery room.’

‘They did my hair, nails, and makeup while I stayed strapped to all monitors in the bed. We worked around pulse oximeters, fetal monitors, and IVs,’ she explained.

‘Our goal was to take all pictures within 10 minutes so the baby would not be off the monitors for more than a longer-than-normal-but-not-entirely-unreasonable bathroom break.’

And at the 10-minute mark, the nurse came back into the room and set up the monitors.

Jackie also revealed that the nurse had a great attitude about her spontaneous photo shoot

Jackie noted that although it was a stressful next day as she was prepping for her C-section, she was happy she would finally get to meet her baby boy

Jackie said that although it was a stressful next day as she was prepping for her C-section, she was happy she and her family had a positive night and that she would finally get to meet her baby boy.

It was right about the 10-minute mark that the nurse came in and helped set up all of the monitors again.

Jackie also revealed that the nurse had a great attitude about her spontaneous photo shoot, adding: ‘My nurse was very attentive! She noticed the baby was off of his monitors and came in quickly to check on us.

‘She was not expecting to walk in on a full-blown photo shoot! She laughed and kindly reattached all of the monitors to check on the baby.

‘I credited [my positivity to] the fun night with my family in which everyone stepped up to capture the beauty of my pregnancy before it so unexpectedly came to an end. I was ready to meet my baby boy!’

Jackie said that in the future she planned to better prioritize her maternity photo shoot before she went into labor.
