The couple spent their Wednesday night at the five-star Vatuvara Private Islands resort in northern Lau.

She wore her hair in a centre parting and loose, while the Duke of Sussex wore a complementary pastel-coloured suit and tie.

Savvy fashion experts were quick to identify the Duchess’s gold leaf earrings as being by Pippa Small.

Meghan also sported $466 (GBP £255) elaborate cuffs by Pippa Small, as well as her normal statement rings.

The ethical fashion brand started in Notting Hill in 2007, before Pippa opened a concession in New York at ABC Carpet & Home.

The gold leaf earrings were from a collection that retailed in the Spring of 2015.

Labalaba, renowned as one of the SAS’s greatest heroes, gave his life in an epic struggle to defend his fellow soldiers at the Battle of Mirbat, in what is now Yemen, in 1972.
