She added with a blue heart emoji: "Monroe S J Bryan you’ve added so much love & happiness to our little family! Me, your daddy & big brother are all besotted with you".

The gorgeous gender-neutral moniker is of Scottish origin and means “mouth of the river Roe” which flows through County Londonderry in Northern Ireland.

Monroe is also the surname of the late Hollywood star Marilyn and also the name of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s 10 year old daughter.

Brooke exclusively announced her pregnancy to OK! back in November.

Opening up about having two children under two, the 28 year old told us: “We wanted more children and we wanted them close together, so we’re both really happy.”

The star found out she was pregnant when she was five weeks along and said it was a “really warming moment” when she discovered the news.

“I think I cried because I was so happy!” she said.

Brooke credited her eldest son with keeping her busy during her first trimester and said being a mum already meant she didn’t have “time” to think about how tired she was because she had Mexx keeping her on her toes.

Brooke also admitted the thought of Mexx becoming a big brother was an emotional one.

“I can’t wait for my babies to grow up together,” she said. “It makes me want to cry thinking about it.

"I don’t think I’m a soppy person, but the thought of him being a big brother and being caring really does make my little heart fuzzy.”

The actress continued: “We weren’t necessarily trying, but it wasn’t a surprise either. It was something we’d spoken about.

"We said we wanted a baby sooner rather than later because we wanted them to grow up together.”

Brooke and Kean, 24, who plays for Sheffield United, have been together for four years.
