Marks and Spencer is having a massive sale on furniture and homeware

The posh retailer has slashed prices across a number of ranges, and while some of the bigger items are still pretty expensive, you can scoop decent discounts on the smaller products.

Savvy shoppers on HotUKDeals spotted that the onlinesale launched earlier this week, and it's offering free delivery on orders over £50.

The retailer is yet to confirm exactly when the sale is ending so you might want to move fast to avoid missing out.

The sale is only likely to run while stocks last, so once the item has sold out then it's gone for good.

It's also worth noting that while M&S only stocks goods from its own brand line, we've managed to find look-a-likes for less than the sale price elsewhere.

Here's what you can expect from the M&S homeware sale:

Set of 4 Gin Glasses, £15.60 – buy now

Was: £19.50, Save: £3.90

It may be a bit early to be thinking about summer barbecues but this set of four wide, gin glasses are perfect for entertaining guests outside.

Get ahead of the game by buying them now from M&S and save £3.90 in the sale.

But if you want to save even more cash, you can actually pick up a similar set from Asda for £8.

12 piece Tribeca dinner set, £31.60 – buy now

Was: £39.50, Save: £7.90

The M&S sale includes this 12 piece dinner set, designed to cater for four guests and made from stoneware which makes them less prone to chipping.

The set comes with four dinner plates, four side plates and the same number of bowls to match and you can choose between three colours including yellow, blue and red.

We actually found an even cheaper dinner set for £8 available to buy from Argos, but they're plain white and less flashy.

Arlo Tallboy drawers, £199 – buy now

Was: £249, Save: £50

Some of the bigger savings to be had in the sale are on bigger items of furniture, including the Arlo Tallboy.

You can save almost £50 on the six drawer set in the sale, plus they'll assemble it for you when they deliver it.

If you don't mind building it yourself, you might be better off buying the Malm chest of drawers from Ikea which costs £85 – £114 cheaper than the M&S set.

Puerto table lamp, £40 – buy now

Was £50, Save: £10

This funky pineapple lamp is ideal to spruce up your bedside table or put it on a shelf in your living room.

The glass fruity base reflects the light giving it a golden glow too.

But if you're looking to save even more, then Argos has a similar lamp for £15, although it isn't made from glass and doesn't give off the same glow.

Luxury Egyptian cotton towels, £41.20 – buy now

Was: £51.50, Save: £10.30

If your towels are looking a bit old and knackered, then these Egyptian cotton ones may be the perfect replacement.

Sizes range from a face towel through to a bath sheet and prices vary depending on which one you choose.

If you were to buy the whole set of five towels for £41.20 you would be saving £10.30 in the sale.

We found an even cheaper set in the clearance sale at Argos, where six towels will set you back just £9 down from £23.

Alfie Express small sofa, £399 – buy now

Was: £499, Save: £100

You can save £100 in the sale on this two seater sofa, which comes in four colours – silver, charcoal, linen and chocolate.

But you could actually get a similar sofa cheaper from Dunelm which costs £239, saving you an extra £260.

New parents who are feeling the pinch should take advantage the Mothercare sale where prices have been dropped by up to 50 per cent.

Earlier this week, M&S launched its "Love Sausage" for lovebirds to dine on on Valentine's Day but not everyone took it seriously.

Get ready to squeal with excitement because M&S has launched limited edition Percy Phizzy Pig Tails and they sound delicious.
