Lucy Mecklenburgh slams ASOS for refusing a refund and BANNING her from ever ordering again – after she claimed her expensive birthday gift for boyfriend Ryan Thomas ‘went missing’

Reality star Lucy Mecklenburgh has been banned from shopping with ASOS after a dispute over a missing order.

The former TOWIE star was furious as she took to Twitter last night to complain about the way the fashion brand had dealt with her problem.

Lucy claimed that ASOS did not deliver an ‘expensive’ birthday gift she’d ordered for boyfriend Ryan Thomas and shared a screenshot of an email she claimed was sent by an ASOS employee.

The email claimed that it’s rare for items to go missing and said that after an assessment of her account, the reality star would not receive a refund or have any future orders accepted.

FEMAIL has contacted ASOS and representatives for Lucy Mecklenburgh for comment.

Unsurprisingly, the email left the 27-year-old fuming and she shared a screenshot on Twitter, complete with an angry message. 

She wrote: ‘So not only did they not deliver an expensive item that was a bday present for my bf, they won’t refund me or ever let me order again. And I’m a VERY regular customer! Cheers Callum from customer care.’

The email from ASOS notifying Lucy of her ban said that it is ‘very rare’ for any items to go missing on their way to the customer.

The email read: ‘After an assessment of your account, we’ve made the decision to not issue a refund for your item.

The 27-year-old was left fuming and posted a screenshot of the email she claims to have received from ASOS customer services. She described herself as a ‘very regular customer’. Pictured is Lucy in her home in September

Lucy shared the following email to her social media accounts, sharing her fury with her one million-plus followers. She received support from her fans with thousands retweeting and ‘liking’ her posts

‘It’s very rare for items to go missing and ASOS have therefore made the decision to not accept any further orders from you.’

The email finished with: ‘As we’re unable to help you further with this, any emails received about this matter will be automatically closed down with no response.’  

The star has more than 1.5 million followers on Twitter and her angry tweet attracted mass support from fans. 

It has been ‘liked’ more than 3000 times and has been retweeted hundreds of times. 

Several fans have also left messages of support for Lucy and shared their own online shopping horror stories, with several saying that they too had struggled to get refunds for missing items. 

Other shoppers claimed they had experiences similar issues with the online retailer, saying they had to fight for refunds for items that had gone missing while others ended up being banned from ordering like Lucy
