After a hard summer going through a crazy public break up with Noah Cyrus and struggling with the death of his friend Mac Miller, Lil Xan is checking himself into rehab and he’s so pumped and ready for it.
This afternoon, Lil Xan posted a picture of him smoking and wrote, “I just dropped out of SoundCloud Uni to go to rehab,🎉” He said he’s leaving in five days, which is right before Thanksgiving, and he “couldn’t be happier with this choice.”

After Miller passed away from an overdose in September, Lil Xan said he wanted to get sober, but admitted it’s incredibly difficult. He said, “I want to be clean and sober, but that shit is hard…. I want to get sober now, completely sober, but its so hard. I just want to be off everything. I want to be like a normal person…. if I didn’t have a tour coming up I would be in rehab right now.”
Lil Xan actually did end up canceling some tour dates because he’s currently working on a Miller tribute album, Be Safe, and needed some time to recharge.
In his Instagram post, Lil Xan said once he finishes rehab, gets healthy, and is in the right mindset, he’ll be ready to finish his album.
