Kettle launches crisps that taste of cheese and wine – but only for limited time

Glasses of fizz and bowls of nibbles are a great way to kick off any celebration.

So why not combine the two?

According to GroceryTrader.co.uk, Kettle is bringing back its Truffled Cheese & Wine crisps this Christmas.

The treats are flavoured with English Sparkling Wine, luxurious truffles and a hint of cheese.

They are wrapped up in festive packaging with sparkly snowflakes and a gift-wrapped effect.

That’s your party cheeseboard sorted in a bag of crisps!

In other news, Kettle is selling the fizz-inspired crisps in Australia for limited time only.

The product description reads: “Nothing says special like a glass of bubbly, so we found a way to sprinkle some fine Prosecco on our golden Kettle beauties.

“Finished with a dusting of pink peppercorns …. And voila! Cheers.”

Sadly, there's no telling whether the flavour will be made available in the UK this year.

In other news, Lidl launched its festive collection of crisps – and there's some very unusual flavours in the line-up.

The range contains wintry flavours like Pigs in Blanket, Lobster Cocktail and Norfolk Turkey with Sage & Onion Stuffing.

And for 2020, two new products have been added to the lineup.

The supermarket has started selling a cheesy trio of French Camembert with Rosemary & Wild Garlic, French Brie & Cranberry, and Blue Stilton® with Red Onion & Thyme flavours.

Each of the packets retail for 75p so customers can try them all without breaking the bank.
