It's always touching when legends meet legends.
That's exactly what happened on Monday evening (March 9), when Jennifer Lopez and her 12-year-old daughter Emme headed out to see Billie Eilish as she kicked off her massive When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? tour.
J.Lo had an adorable, proud mama moment as she and Emme spent some time with Eilish backstage, resulting in one of the cutest snaps you'll have ever seen of Lopez and her too-excited-to-contain-herself daughter.
J.Lo took to Instagram with a couple of absolutely adorable shots of little Esme sandwiched between her and Billie. They're so close you might miss Esme if you don't know she's there.
"When Emme met Billie," J.Lo captioned the sweet photo. The trio are snuggled together in a warm embrace, as Billie has a look of pure joy on her face. It's hard to tell who was the bigger fan in the heartwarming snap.
During the concert itself, J.Lo showed off a few clips via her Instagram Story of Emme living it up while singing along to Billie's biggest hits, including "all i ever wanted." Lopez herself proved to be a fan as well as she sang along with Billie.
J.Lo took several shots of her daughter with Billie, showing just how excited Emme was to clearly be meeting someone she idolized. And now that Emme has proven to the world she's a talented performer just like her mother, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to hear her belt out some Billie tunes in the near future.
We can always hope so, of course.
