Instagram star left ‘really scared’ after account is banned over ‘sexual’ photo

A pregnant Instagram influencer burst into tears as she revealed she is "really scared" her Instagram account was banned for a "sexual" photo.

Sally Mustang, from Byron Bay, Australia, recently revealed she was expecting her first child with husband, Mitch Gobel.

The woman, who is five months pregnant, had recently shared an image showing showed her naked in a bathtub while displaying her blossoming bump.

But, not long after her account was deleted.

Sally, who had racked up nearly 300,000 followers on the social media site, claims the photo was flagged for being "sexual" despite the mum-to-be covering her chest with her hands.

The artist and yoga teacher has since posted a photo to her husband’s account, where she voiced her fears for her future.

In it, she said: "It makes my heart so sore, and I’m really scared, you know?

"I'm five months pregnant and my whole livelihood has disappeared.

"It's my creative outlet, my memories, my voice, my community, my family, my businesses you know it has all just disappeared.

"And to be five months pregnant and adapting to the change that is already going on is just so unfair and so harsh.

"I just want to speak up."

Instagram's nudity policy states that any media that shows "sexual intercourse, genitals and close-ups of fully nude buttocks" are banned.

"It also includes some photos of female nipples, but photos of post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding are allowed," the policy reads.

"Nudity in photos of paintings and sculptures is OK, too."

Some 50,600 people have since commented on the clip.

One person claimed: "My heart breaks for her."

A second said: "Please restore Sally Mustang's account Instagram."

While a third user added: "Just listen to what you are saying for a minute. Nothing is lost, you are alive and healthy.

"Your baby is fine, your marriage, your family.

"Since when did losing a social media page mean losing everything?"

Sally and Mitch had only announced the pregnancy last week, with photos capturing Sally dressed in a white skirt and matching bra straddling her husband.

Soon after her account was removed, she set up a second account where she also posted a video lashing out at Instagram, but that account also appears to have been deleted.

But before the account vanished, she posted: “Mitch’s account was threatened to be shut down this morning so we are just going to be super easy going on here for a few days."

Mitch also penned a post which appears to have since been deleted, claiming they were trying to get Sally’s original account restored.

It comes after a blogger sobbed after her profile was deleted.
