We live in the same block of flats and I’m her grandad. I’m 64 and registered disabled. My granddaughter is 24 and lives with a low-life.

Her last boyfriend was abusive and this one is worse. He’s 30.

He was harassing her outside the block and it came up on the security camera. A couple of people stepped in.

DEIDRE SAYS: Having a mental health condition is not an excuse for violence in a relationship. Someone who loves her wouldn’t want to hurt her.
Find a moment to tell her you are worried about her and she deserves better treatment.
If she won’t leave him, encourage her to go to you, or a friend, if she sees her partner getting agitated.
