I want to live with the love of my life but I'm stuck with my estranged husband

DEAR DEIDRE:  I CAN’T be with the man I want and am living with someone I’ve fallen out of love with.

My husband and I are getting divorced but stuck living in the same house, even though it’s been sold.

Nothing has been moving due to all the virus restrictions. I am 38 and my husband is 36. We are splitting up after being married for ten years. I met a guy on Tinder six months ago and we talk every day via WhatsApp.

We have not met yet but he is the most wonderful man and I can truthfully say I have never ever felt this happy before.

I am so up and down, happy one minute, upset the next, and this situation is making me anxious.

DEIDRE SAYS: Life must feel miserable being trapped like this. But at this stage you have no idea whether life with this new guy really would be perfect for you, because you have never really met.

It is almost like a fantasy for you both, so please try to tread carefully.

Even ending a relationship you want to be out of is a loss and takes time to adjust to. My e-leaflet Coping With Nervous Stress explains.
