If you’re still single despite trying every dating app out there a few crucial profile blunders could be to blame. 

Surprise findings by Nuyoo.co, who conducted a survey on 872 millennials aged 18-30, has revealed that women are most likely to swipe left on men with the same name as an ex, those who use topless pictures or even have incompatible star signs.

Meanwhile the unusual traits listed by men as turn-offs include wearing too much make-up, using filtered selfies and even having children.

On the other end of the scale men were most likely to swipe right on a funny bio and an adventure seeker, while women listed a good job and facial hair as top reasons to give a potential match a chance. 

New research conducted on British millennials has revealed the unusual profile turn-offs that will make online daters swipe left- with women more likely to swipe left, meaning no, on men with profiles featuring incompatible star signs

The research, which took into consideration multiple dating apps,  revealed that 84 per cent of women consider a promising career a very attractive trait.

Meanwhile good looks came in second at 79 per cent, and with 66 per cent of votes facial hair was the next most cited reason why women would swipe right on a dating app. 

Interestingly, over half of women appeared to believe in the power of astrology, as 61 per cent admitted to finding zodiacal compatibility very important.

The biggest turn off for 86 per cent of women proved to be topless pictures on men’s dating profiles, with them resulting in a firm left swipe for most

Simultaneously, when it came to what men found attractive, good looks also ranked first with a vote of 88 per cent, while humour came in next with 75 per cent of men admitting they would swipe right for a funny bio. 

A woman’s occupation also proved very important for 69 per cent of men, while 57 per cent admitted to being attracted by an adventure seeker.

However the biggest turn off for 86 per cent of women proved to be topless pictures, while 81 per cent believed a star sign that is incompatible with theirs is a big no-no. 

Moreover, wearing too much makeup will result in a left swipe from a whopping 91 per cent of men who preferred the more ‘natural look’

And if the person shared a name as one of their exes, 70 per cent of women would swipe left, while too many group pictures was also cited as a turn-off.
