The brown checkered item – also known as a ‘shacket’ – has been hailed one of this season’s must-have pieces after being spotted on tastemakers like Emily Bull, Emma Hill and Monikh Dale.
While some new season staples come with an eye-watering price tag, this one is refreshingly affordable – and will set you back just £30.

Shoppers are obsessing over the straight-cut shirt jacket, which comes in a sturdy herringbone weave.
The brown-checkered jacket is currently sold out online in H&M’s petite range, although it is still available in small and medium sizes.
It’s part of the brand’s Conscious range, which is designed to promote the use of recycled materials.
While some fashionistas have thrown the shirt-jacket over the top of simple t-shirts, others have layered up, donning it over hoodies and jumpers.
Influencer Emily Bull delighted her 17,000 followers with a snap in the brown jacket, donning it over a simple camel coloured t-shirt with black flares.
