Facebook users ‘creeped out’ as woman shares snap of ‘butthole’ engagement ring

When a woman posted a picture of her engagement ring online, she "creeped out" some commenters.

The brave lass shared a snap to the That’s it, I’m ring shaming page on Facebook, which is a notoriously savage forum.

At first glance, her sparkler doesn’t look too wacky or offensive.

But as it featured a aquamarine, some compared it to a spooky evil eye.

And criticism of the stone didn’t end there.

As the gem looks a little wrinkled, shamers likened it to a “butthole”.

One commenter remarked: “It’s a bright blue butthole!”

A second joked: “You should go to the doctor your butthole isn’t supposed to be blue.”

Another agreed: “Looks like a blue butthole.”

And a fourth admitted: “It’s a cat’s butthole.”

Others said they were "creeped out" by the engagement ring – as they believe it resembles an evil eye.

A responder confessed: “Dude – I literally thought that was one of those novelty rings with a glass eye in it.

“I had to zoom in to make sure.”

Another asked: “Is that an evil eye bead?”

And a third joked: “Eye personally don’t like it.”

The harsh comments didn’t end there.

While one Facebook user argued that the ring has “no redeeming qualities”, another branded it an “abomination”.

Thankfully, the woman took the criticism well.

It seems she was well prepared for the ring shaming – and admitted the cheeky comparisons had made her laugh.

She responded: “Hahahaha these are great! Thanks guys for the roast.”
