EastEnders star Danielle Harold is known for playing the part of Lola Pearce on the soap, beginning her journey in Albert Square back in 2011.

The blonde beauty, 28, found herself at the centre of some big storylines during her time on the soap, from 2011 until 2015 and as a result she was welcomed with open arms by fans when she reprised her role in 2019.

Who is Danielle Harold?

Soap star Danielle hails from Lewisham, London.

The beauty first appeared on reality series Jamie's Dream School in 2011, centring around Jamie Oliver’s bid to help pupils with fewer than five GCSEs.

Danielle ended up winning a scholarship on the show, and spent the money on a drama teacher which then skyrocketed her to fame as her agent got her an audition for EastEnders.

The star then landed her role in 2011, playing the part of Billy Mitchell’s granddaughter Lola.

On the show Danielle gave birth to baby Lexi in a live broadcast, which made her the first EastEnders actress to portray giving birth live on air.

What else has Danielle Harold starred in?

EastEnders aside, Danielle has also tried her hand at horror.

The star appeared in low budget films Fanged Up, Two Graves and The Tombs and Monster.

As well, she’s starred in films named Innocent Candy, Pleasureland and New Girl.

Who is Danielle Harold dating?

Danielle has stayed quiet about her dating life, and tends to lead a very private personal life.

On Instagram, the star boasts 171,000 followers but keeps her account private, and on Twitter she rarely posts, giving very little away about her dating life off-screen.

What else do you need to know?

Despite a successful career, it hasn’t always been an easy ride for Danielle.

When she was a teenager she was seriously ill and she left school with just one GCSE as a result.

Talking to Mirror Online, she said: “I was in year 10 when I fell ill and was in and out of hospital. At that point I just gave up and didn’t try with GCSEs.

“I didn’t do well at school, I used to bunk off lessons a lot. I always felt frustrated because I couldn’t understand maths and English. I knew I’d never get good grades, I was more into drama and sports.”

Thankfully, the star ended up on our screens and came to be a face we know and love, and she counts EastEnders favourite Danny Dyer as one of her closest pals.

Danielle left the soap for a while, but admitted she couldn’t wait to get back after being typecast.

She told Mirror Online: “I was stereotyped – it was the classic prostitute or pole dancing role. I couldn’t wait to get back to EastEnders!”
