‘Dallas’ alum Josh Henderson arrested for burglary

“Dallas” alum Josh Henderson was arrested Tuesday on a felony charge of burglary. 

Henderson, 37, was taken into custody Tuesday “on suspicion of burglary,” Jeff Lee, public information officer for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to USA TODAY.

The actor, who starred from 2012 to 2014 as the son of Larry Hagman’s iconic J.R. Ewing on TNT’s reboot of the soapy series “Dallas,”  was released later that morning on $50,000 bail, according to Los Angeles County Jail records. He is scheduled in court on Jan. 3.  

USA TODAY reached out to Henderson’s reps for comment. 

TMZ reports that the actor’s neighbors discovered nearly $7,000 worth of jewelry was taken from their home. The neighbors allegedly identified Henderson with two other men on surveillance footage taken during the reported crime. 

Henderson also appeared in over a dozen episodes of “Desperate Housewives” from 2006-07 as Edie Britt’s rebellious nephew Austin McCann. His other acting credits include”The Arrangement,” which broadcast its most recent episode in May, and “Step Up.”
