Daily horoscope for April 19: YOUR star sign reading, astrology and zodiac forecast TODAY

April’s full moon arrives today, and this Pink Moon, as it is known, has astrological implications. The moon in question is not actually pink, and derives its name from the pretty wild ground phlox, a flower that blooms during the Spring Equinox. From an astrological perspective, the Pink Moon symbolises rebirth, while its shifting position between two star signs means today could be pretty intense.

Marina Stoichkova, an astrologer from MarStars, believes we are going to feel plenty of cosmic energy today.

We are going to feel the cosmic energy during the whole day

Ms Stoichkova said: “This is the day of the Full Moon, which will peak in brightness shortly after midday (BST).

“And of course we are going to feel the cosmic energy during the whole day.

“This dynamism is going to be strong throughout the whole, regardless of when it peaks.

“There will be a need to compromise between things, people might be more emotional or seeking a form of release is also very strong.”

The astrologer draw a parallel with people who experience insomnia because their emotions and their minds are too active.

She said: “And this indicates their need to let go and release something.

“So this about and use this special day in a constructive day.”

The moon will enter Scorpio at around 1.00pm BST (8.00am ET).

Ms Stoichkova said: “And this is a challenging position – your emotions may feel too intense and strong.

“People may experience more tension and there might be more suspicion.

“So generally beliebers in astrology should exhibit caution today.

“And on the other hand, when the moon is in Scorpio, it is a great time to transform something and work on financial issues.

“And some form of energy practice, such as yoga or meditation may help you to balance those emotions to reconnect with you inner self.”

The important thing to remember while the moon is working its magic is that it is ok to feel all the ups and downs.

Those of us who are craving change can receive help from our celestial satellite.

If you are not looking for change the Moon may just give you some things to think about.
