Play was stopped on 69 minutes when Stade flanker Sekou Macalou clashed with opponent Julian Savea.
Players from both sides then ran in to get involved.
Match officials and staff from the sidelines try and settle down the incident, but it is a man dressed in white brandishing a flag, who steals the limelight.
He has been identified as Sekou’s older brother by French media.
The well-built man first throws himself into the thick of the action, standing behind his brother, looking ready to go.
A Stade player and a member of staff then usher the pitch invader away, with his flag still firmly in hand.
He clambers back over the advertising hoarding, but is not done yet.
He shoves off the attentions of one man trying to calm him down, before pointing the flag at one of the Toulon players he has taken offence to.
