Aldi is selling a £30 rocking unicorn and your kids will love it

The magical beasts are only £29.99 and are available in Aldi stores from this Thursday or you can pre-order them online already.

The creatures are white with pink saddles and hooves and come with a 'sparkly' sound effect, which is triggered by pressing the ears.

They come in the size of 59cm x 29.5cm x 71cm and are suitable for anyone above the age of two.

Aldi's range of rocking toys for £29.99 also include a wooden rocking horse, which also includes various animal sounds.

Just remember that you'll need to pick up a couple of AA batteries to be able to hear them as they're not included.

Both the horse and unicorn come on a wooden rocking frame and have wooden handles to keep the little ones steady.

A user who reviewed the rocking horse on Aldi's website said: "I've had this for many months now, looks as good as when first bought. It's gorgeous in the nursery…people always comment on it. Toddler loves it.

"Similar products are way more expensive than this. I can't believe the price. Furthermore… it has optional neighing sounds and trotting noises when you press the ears. What's not to like?"

The toys were released last year as part of Aldi's Toys Specialbuys, which is actually a great way to save money.

If you really want to impress fans of the latest unicorn craze, another option is Argos' rocking unicorn of roughly the same size, but this is more expensive at £31.99.

There are also rocking unicorns up for grabs at Studio.co.uk for £29.99, down from £79.99 – meaning you'll get a whopping discount of £50.

These unicorns are even bigger at 73cm x 34cm x 66cm and even let you personalise the saddle with names up to 11 letters.

In other unicorn news, both Aldi and Asda have started selling giant unicorn toys – but Aldi's version is cheaper.

Argos is also selling a ride-on unicorn for kids, but it doesn't have many left in stock so you'll have to be quick to get your hands on one.

Amazon has also revealed its top 10 Christmas toys – and it includes a unicorn that poos glitter.
