In case the upcoming Fantastic Beasts movie isn’t enough to get you excited about a return to the Harry Potter universe, some footage of an apparent Harry Potter video game just leaked and it looks so magical.
According to Reddit user VapeThisBro, they obtained the footage through a U.S. focus group that paid them $8 to watch the game and complete a survey about it. The organizers were supposed to take their phones away, but VapeThisBro had other plans, recorded it, and reportedly leaked the video, which has since been taken down by Warner Bros.
According to VapeThisBro, the game takes place in the 19th century and gamers get to choose their own character who then enters the game as a 5th year student. The user described the game as:
The game is reportedly being developed by Avalanche Software, which is owned by Warner Bros., and the company had put out a job posting for someone to work on a role playing game sometime last year. Warner Bros. hasn’t commented on the footage, but, I mean, hopefully VapeThisBro is a trustworthy person and this is all true!
