6 Of The Coolest Nail Art Designs You'll Want to Re-Create ASAP

Although none of us are able to physically visit our favorite nail salons in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, plenty of manicurists and beauty experts have created easy-to-follow nail art tutorials on Instagram that you can re-create at home.

Whether you're looking for a simple design, want to add a little sparkle to your mani, or you're ready for a challenge, there's a tutorial out there for you.

To help you find your perfect nail art match, we've rounded up six of our faves to get you inspired.

Roll the Dice

Influencer and overall beauty queen Tiffany M. Battle created a cute dice-inspired mani for anyone who's into the black and white look. She used Debroah Lippmann's Amazing Grace for the white, and OPI's Black Onyx for her contrasting color.

Battle also opted for OPI's Chip Skip to give her nails a lasting finish, as well as CND's Solar Cuticle Oil to keep the skin around her nail bed in optimal health. Re-create the nail art design by watching her full tutorial on IGTV.

All the Glitz

While this glistening nail art created by beloved NYC salon Paintbox may look complex, it actually only takes a few steps to complete. Start off by using the brand's Like Glass polish as a base coat, then swap on a few coats of Like Future on the bottom half of the nail, saving Like Spark for the top. Find the full breakdown in the salon's Instagram highlights, updated weekly.

Pop of Pink

Re-create this geometric mani using sundays Nail Studio's signature base coat, followed by no.06 and no.01 polish for your neutrals, and no.10 for a pop of pink. The salon's owner, Amy Lin, used the bright shade on her thumb nail, but feel free to switch things up for your own manicure.

Ombre Manicure — With a Twist

JINsoon Spa gave us a fun take on the traditional ombre manicure. To copy the look at home, paint each nail different colors using the brand's Pop Orange, Aero, Dolly Pink, and Love polishes, then add a swap of Shake It to the middle of every nail. So simple, yet so chic.

Half Moons

Paintbucket nail artist Ashmita remixed the half moon mani by adding different shades of pink into the mix. Start off by using your favorite base coat, then apply two coats of essie's Sugar Daddy Polish on top. Afterwards, create tiny half moons at the base of the nail using a hot pink polish like YSL's Fuchsia Cubiste. Finish off with a top coat, and voila.

Keep It (Surprisingly) Simple

If you've literally got no time for intricate nail art, but you're still in the mood to shake up your regular manicure, opt for Color Street's easy to apply pre-made polish strips. Re-create this silver and purple look with the brand's Kiss & Toile kit — no drying time required.
