Vicki Gunvalson Promised BF Steve She Is Done Getting Plastic Surgery

Pressing pause! Following her recent face-lift, Vicki Gunvalson made a vow to boyfriend Steve Lodge that she would not be going under the knife again.

“I promised Steve I wouldn’t do anything,” The Real Housewives of Orange County  star, 56, exclusively told Us Weekly on Monday, July 30. “I said to him the other day, ‘My boobies are a little bit lower. I want them higher up here,’ He goes, ‘You promised me you wouldn’t do anything else.’ No, for right now I’m at peace.”

Gunvalson revealed exclusively to Us earlier this month that she had a face-lift against Lodge’s wishes. “He said, ‘Absolutely not, you look gorgeous the way you are, just grow up gracefully,’” she recalled. “I asked my daughter [Briana Culberson] and she said, ‘Absolutely not. I don’t want you to look pulled. I don’t want anything to look different about you.’”

Although the Bravo personality still decided to go through with the procedure, she is now focused on hitting the gym to change her body through exercise in addition to working on her inner-self. “Other than that, I’m working on my inside, because my outside is just a shell,” she told Us. “It’s really your heart and your mind and what you can do for others and that to me is the most important thing … and being happy and trying to get any insecurity that I have, because we all have them, right? Especially when you throw yourself on a reality TV show and all the haters out there are trying to hate you. But I feel that I’m in a really good place in my life for the first time in a long time.”

While chatting with Us on Monday, Gunvalson also gushed over her strong relationship with Lodge. “I’ve been ready [to take the next step]. Well, we live together now and so that was a big step for us to do, but Steve’s my best friend and I don’t want to be with anybody else and so whatever that looks like down the road, I want it to be forever,” she raved. “I mean, whether it’s marriage or not marriage, I don’t know. We’ll have to make that decision together, or he’ll have to decide because I’ve already decided.”

Even so, the pair, who started dating in May 2016, won’t be racing down the aisle. “Nobody needs to rush nobody. Marriage is a huge commitment. We both have been married a few times, so we don’t want to ever be divorced again and that’s our vow, to just make sure it’s right,” Gunvalson explained. “I don’t want him to ever wake up one morning and say, ‘I rushed into this’ and I don’t want to be rushed into it. It’s a dual decision at our age and it’s not something that we’re gonna take lightly. It’s very, very important to us.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Bravo Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
