Peppa Pig, as many parents of toddlers can tell you, is a young pig who lives with her parents and brother, George, wears clothes, and really really loves muddy puddles. Which makes Peppa Pig’s latest collaboration genius as well as adorable. Hunter, the company behind England’s most-loved rainboots, is teaming up with Peppa Pig to release a limited-edition collection of rain boots and gear.

Right now, all we know about the limited-edition collection is that it launches Friday, July 19. You can sign up to get updates and learn more as the date approaches. Based on the quick glimpse of a pair of bright yellow boots with Peppa’s likeness on them, we’re expecting fun, unisex designs that toddlers will like as much as parents.
This isn’t the first time Hunter has teamed up with a beloved children’s brand for a collection. Last year, Hunter x Disney released Mary Poppins-themed collection for the new film. But the Peppa Pig collection is the first time we’re aware of where the heritage brand explicitly partnered with a mud puddle-loving character — and that adorable symmetry isn’t lost on the folks at Hunter, either.
According to Footwear News, Alasdhair Willis, creative director at Hunter, explained the collaboration this way: Hunter is all about “fun, adventure and preferably a muddy puddle. I can think of no better partner to bring this spirit to life than Peppa Pig.”
While both Hunter and Peppa Pig are distinctly British properties, they’ve had great popularity in the United States. (In fact, a Target collaboration with Hunter sold out almost overnight back in 2018.) Meanwhile, Peppa Pig may be giving her toddler superfans on this side of the pond a reason to speak with slight British accents — not to mention a new reason to hope for rain.
