Never wake a sleeping baby, even if there is friendly little ghost in bed with him.

One mom got quite the scare when she saw what looked like a “ghost baby” in bed with her son on the baby monitor.

What the “ghost baby” actually turned out to be has everyone laughing—her post on Facebook detailing the incident has been shared more than 290,000 times.

“So last night I was positive there was a ghost baby in the bed with my son,” wrote Maritza Elizabeth. “I was so freaked out, I barely slept. I even tried creeping in there with a flashlight while my son was sleeping.”

“Well, this morning I go to investigate a bit further. It turns out my husband just forgot to put the mattress protector on when he changed the sheets. I could kill him,” she jokes alongside crying-laughing face emojis.

Turns out, there was no “ghost baby,” but instead an image of a cute baby on the label of the mattress. The light came through just enough that the image was projected through the sheets, something a mattress protector would typically hide.

Yes, hubby would definitely be in the dog house for that.

Note to self: Always make sure to use a mattress protector. Not only do they help with overnight accidents, but they also prevent your babies from being haunted by ghost babies.
