Bachelor alum Arie Luyendyk Jr. shared adorable photos of his daughter with wife Lauren Burnham as he marveled over her “really big feet.”
“Tired?” the former racecar driver, 37, asked as he placed his hand over yawning daughter, Alessi Ren Luyendyk, who was born on Wednesday, May 29. Holding her on his lap as his wife sat beside him, the new dad cooed, “She has skinny legs, really big feet and little chubby arms.”
“Good little morning with his one,” he captioned two Instagram Story videos on Saturday, June 1. “Soooooo little :)”
Burnham, 27, also shared some sweet images of their first child with her daddy on Saturday, posting a photo and video on her Instagram Stories that showed the baby lying skin-to-skin on Luyendyk’s chest as they lay in bed.
“Just way too cute,” she captioned the pic. The new mom also thanked loved ones for all off their good wishes.
“I just wanted to say thank you so so much to our family and friends (in person & online),” she wrote. “The support and sweet messages we’ve received have been overwhelming. I’ve been trying my best to respond to everyone I can…I’ll probably have time when Alessi is 18.”
Luyendyk, who starred on season 22 of The Bachelor last year, where he met Burnham, announced Alessi’s arrival on Wednesday.
“We have a healthy, BEAUTIFUL baby girl 6lbs, 13oz 20cm long,” he wrote on Instagram. “Mommy and baby are doing great, we are so incredibly happy.”
He proudly shared the first pics of his daughter the following day, writing, “This was first time she laid eyes on me and I’m forever changed.”
Burnham later shared a video of her hubby changing Alessi’a diaper, writing that he is “already the best daddy,” while he joked that fellow Bachelor Nation stars Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici “taught me everything I know.”
