‘Sweet Home Sextuplets’ Mom Breaks Down Before Delivery

Introducing your favorite new reality show! Eric and Courtney Waldrop welcomed six babies in December 2017 — and their journey was documented in TLC’s Sweet Home Sextuplets. That means viewers will see everything from the high-risk delivery to the family’s life at home in rural Alabama with nine kids.

In a Sweet Home Sextuplets clip obtained exclusively by Us Weekly, Eric, 36, and a 30 weeks pregnant Courtney are seen at the hospital on the day of her C-section.

“My biggest fear is that something is gonna be wrong with the babies or something is going to happen during the surgery,” a crying Courtney admitted. “I worry about something going wrong.”

Courtney’s father, Gary, who came to support his daughter, wished there was something he could do to help ease her concerns. “Seeing Courtney being scared, it made me feel bad,” he revealed. But Courtney had nothing to worry about.

The staff at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children were ready for anything — including an emergency hysterectomy if one was needed. “We’ve been preparing 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the last seven weeks,” Dr. Meyer Dworsky explained in the video.

Tag, Layke, Blue, Rivers, Rawlings, Rayne— three boys and three girls — were born on December 11, 2017. The newborns weighed less than 3 pounds each. They joined big brothers Saylor, 8, Wales, 5, and Bridge, 5.

In a Facebook post on December 13, teacher Courtney wrote: “They’re oh so very little but absolutely perfect!”

TLC’s Sweet Home Sextuplets premieres Tuesday, September 18, at 10 p.m ET.
