‘Southern Charm’s’ Naomie Olindo Says It Took ‘Frickin Forever’ To Lose Weight With Intermittent Fasting

If there are two things that go together better than anything else (you know, besides peanut butter and jelly), it’s Bravo TV stars and trendy diets.

The most recent example of that? Southern Charm star Naomie Olindo and intermittent fasting—and she’s actually been doing it for a while.

Back in July, Naomie, 26, revealed that she started intermittent fasting, claiming that her “body fat MELTED off in a few months.” Naomie went on to say “I still drink alcohol, eat candy, and eat cheat food all the time–but the key is to be more consistent than you are inconsistent.”

In that same post, Naomie explained why she believes intermittent fasting has been successful for her. “Going to the gym once is easy, eating one healthy meal is easy, but doing it consistently more than not is hard. That’s why it works,” she said, adding that it doesn’t have to be about one “BIG” victory, but lots of small ones.

Now, Naomie is offering up more details on her intermittent fasting experience, according to Bravo’s The Feast.

In a recent Instagram Stories Q&A, Naomie answered a few of her fans’ questions about intermittent fasting. Naomie shared her intermittent fasting eating schedule (typically 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. each day), along with her favorite drink indulgence: “My classic is a vodka/soda/grapefruit but I’ll settle for pretty much anything but water,” she said.

Also, when asked how long it took for her to see results on the IF diet plan, Naomie responded: “3 months. Results take frickin forever (especially for me) but SO worth it.”

But, tbh, slow and steady weight loss, along with not restricting yourself (i.e., eating candy once in a while, if you want to), is the key to long-lasting results. Kudos to Naomie for sticking with a plan that works for her.
