Serena Williams’ daughter Olympia got a special present recently and her unboxing makes us wish we were part of her world. Her father Alexis Ohanian shared a video of the 5-year-old on Instagram on Tuesday and it’s seriously so precious. The little girl opened an Amazon package and found an Ariel doll inside.

“What is it?” she asked.
“What is it?” the Reddit co-founder repeated. “Look at her.”
And that’s when it dawned on her. She started jumping around and shrieking, not letting go of her The Little Mermaid doll. You can see her parents in the reflection of their glass doors, happily watching their little Disney enthusiast bounce around while wearing an Encanto dress.
“Thank you, Dada, thank you!” she said, and he then prompted her to “thank Mama too.” Because even 4-time Grand Slam champions get forgotten sometimes. *Sigh*
Olympia then rests her head on the table, seemingly tired from her jumping, before getting up and staring at her doll again. “I never had a Little Mermaid doll before,” she said before telling her dad her plans to bring the doll to the theater when she goes to see the 2023 live-action remake with Halee Bailey playing the lead role. Bailey is not only playing a beloved Disney princess, but a source of joy for young Black women who don’t often see themselves represented in Disney movies and lead roles.

Little Sbling On The Way

“Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala,” she wrote on Instagram. The third guest was Baby Ohanian of course. How cute is that?!

Surprise!
Serena Williams told Olympia she would be a big sis right before heading to the red carpet. They had to wait because apparently Olympia “can’t keep a secret.” The couple recorded the reveal and shared the sweet moment on YouTube.
Sitting down on the couch with her daughter and husband, Williams asked Olympia, “Remember how you’ve been praying for a little sister or brother?”
Olympia nodded, and Williams said, “Well I went to the doctor and it turns out I’m not getting fat, but I have a baby in my belly.”
“You’re going to be a big sister,” Ohanian said. The little girl shrieked (much like she did after getting her doll!) and hugged her mom.

“Can you send me some of your energy?,” on person asked, and we are patiently awaiting her answer.
