Sandra Bullock Reveals What Her Kids Will Open on Christmas Day

Sandra Bullock won’t be up all night wrapping presents for her kids on December 24. The Oceans Eight actress revealed on Tuesday, December 18, that Louis, 8, and Laila, 6, will be receiving “three small gifts” this Christmas.

While speaking with Today cohost Hoda Kotb, the Oscar winner, 54, revealed that previous Christmases were “really, really overdone because I overdo it, and then I panic that I didn’t do enough, and then I get more.”

Finally, Bullock decided it was time to end the cycle. “We just stopped because there’s so much happening in the world where people don’t have anything,” the Virginia native explained during the interview. “And we said, ‘Why don’t we just make this about other people?’ And they were amazing about it.”

Bullock, who was on the morning show promoting her new thriller Bird Box, also opened up about bringing her son on set. “Lou was very interested in what everyone’s worst fear was,” she said. “Like, he would would go around to the actors saying, ‘Well, what is your worst fear?’”

The Gravity star noted that Louis is aware that her biggest fear involves him and his sister. “I said, ‘I’m not going to tell you how dark I go.’ But I said anything that happens to you,’” she said. “I think the worst thoughts all day. They know I worry all the time. All the time, 24/7.”

Bullock’s boyfriend of three years, Bryan Randall, understands what it’s like to care so much about two little people. “Bryan has fully embraced the dad role,” a Bullock pal told Us Weekly in November 2017. “He is 100 percent there for Louis and Laila and wonderful with them in every way. Sandy feels incredibly fortunate and blessed that she is sharing the parenting journey with Bryan. (Bullock and the photographer, 52, were dating when she adopted Laila.)

The producer was previously married to motorcyclist Jesse James from 2005 to 2010.
