Prince William’s Son George Asked Him for an Adorable Favor

Prince William did his 5-year-old son, George, a solid on Wednesday, December 5, when he and wife, Duchess Kate, visited a military base in Cyprus.

“I told George this morning we were going to see the pilots today,” William, 36, told a group of British soldiers, per a Harper’s Bazaar report. “And he said, ‘If you see a helicopter can you take a picture?’”

William and Kate, who are also parents of Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 7 months, hosted a Christmas party at Kensington Palace on Tuesday. “It was very kiddie-friendly,” Kate, 36, reportedly added. “I think some of the grandparents felt slightly bombarded. [The children] had a lot of sweets by the end of the day. We felt quite responsible. The sugar highs … There were a lot of marshmallows!”

The candy was such at hit that there were no leftovers. When George and Charlotte returned from school, “Everything was gone — they were so disappointed!” Kate revealed.

At the event, the couple shared a glimpse into their seven-year marriage. While checking at the base’s new recreation center, William noticed the yellow couches and joked, “keep the pizza off the sofas.” Kate promptly replied, “You’re a nightmare with that!”

In September, a royal insider opened up to Us Weekly about life inside Kensington Palace’s Apartment 1A, and described Charlotte as being the most “bubbly” member of the family. “She’s definitely the biggest character of the three children at the moment,” the source said at the time. “She’ll come up to guests and ask if they want tea or coffee or offer them sweets — so adorable.”
