Prince Louis, 15 Months, to Appear on Buckingham Palace Balcony This Weekend

A big deal! Prince Louis will join his family on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the first time during his Saturday, June 8, Trooping the Colour debut, a source confirms to Us Weekly.

“He will most likely be arriving in one of the carriages with his siblings,” the insider added.

The other members of Duchess Kate and Prince William’s brood, Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 4, have made multiple appearances at the annual London parade, which celebrates Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday. (This year, she turned 93 on April 21.) Louis’ sister has been attending since 2016, and his big brother’s debut was two years earlier.

Last year, George, Charlotte and their cousin Savannah Phillips stole the show. Not only did Phillips’ cover the future king’s mouth when he sang too loudly, but the princess took a tumble and had to be comforted by her mom.

Louis arrived in April 2018 and recently celebrated his 1st birthday. To ring in the big day, the Duchess of Cambridge, 37, released three new photos she took of the little one. He was all smiles playing outdoors in colorful sweaters.

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry sent well-wishes their nephew’s way via Instagram, writing, “Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us. xo.”

The following month, Louis showed off his walking skills while exploring the garden that Kate designed for the Chelsea Flower Show. He toddled toward the camera with his arms out, then rode a rope swing with help from the Duke of Cambridge, 36, and carried around a stick.

“In recent years, I have focused much of my work on the early years, and how instrumental they are for outcomes later in life,” Kate said of her garden at the time. “I believe that spending time outdoors when we are young can play a role in laying the foundations for children to become happy, healthy adults.”
