Middleton and the former professional race car driver tied the knot in May 2017 after five years of dating. The author of home entertaining book Celebrate confirmed her pregnancy in June in a guest column for Waitrose magazine. In the piece, Duchess Kate’s sister opened up about her first trimester and how she tweaked her exercise regime.

“I’m fanatical about sport and have looked at loads of books and websites on exercise during pregnancy but have been disappointed by the limited technical information on what you can and can’t do,” Middleton revealed.

Meanwhile, Middleton’s sister-in-law opened up about being shamed for working out while pregnant. (Williams posted Instagram videos of herself training.)

“People were constantly saying, ‘You’re putting your baby at risk, you shouldn’t be doing things like that,” Williams told This Morning in June. “Everything I do is okayed by my doctor and okayed by my trainers. People just seem to have such an issue with women training when they are pregnant. To be honest, it’s anything you do when you’re pregnant. If you put up a picture and there’s a can of Coke in the background, you get a comment saying, ‘You shouldn’t be drinking coke when you’re pregnant.”
