Deena Cortese was ecstatic to learn that she was having a baby boy – but not more than her husband, Chris Buckner. The pregnant Jersey Shore star shared a video of the couple learning that they were expecting a boy via Instagram on Monday, July 2.
“The moment we found out we were having a son. Chris’ reaction was everything!!!!” the mom-to-be gushed. “Uhg I love you @cbuckner I can’t wait to meet our son!”

Several loved ones joined the couple during the suspenseful moment. The parents-to-be stood patiently off to the side as a friend opened a box to reveal blue smoke.
Just hours before posting the clip, Cortese revealed that she was expecting her first child. “Chris and I decided to wait until we were ready to spill the beans! Now that we are safely into our second trimester … us and our little monkey are ready to tell the world. Our little family is growing!” she gushed. “We have a sweet little boy on the way! We are truly blessed and our hearts are filled with so much joy and happiness. December can’t come soon enough!”
The pair already has a name picked out, too. “Daddy and Mommy can’t wait to meet you Christopher John,” she added. “You are going to be the most spoiled little boy ever!!!!”
Their little one will have plenty of playmates when he arrives. MTV costars Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is already mom of son Lorenzo, 5, and daughter Giovanna, 3, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley has daughter Meilani, 3, and son Greyson, 2. Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro are also dads.
