Sometimes, we want to roll our eyes when every company in the world wants to hop on a certain trend, but when it comes to kids face masks, we definitely have to make exceptions. Gap is the latest brand to offer up some sweet designs for reusable cloth face masks, which have become a must-have all kids over the age of 2 who might come in close contact with others.
When the Gap offered adult masks for sale on its site a couple of weeks ago, they sold out in just a day, and we expect that to be the case with these kids masks too. The company is rushing so fast to put these masks into production that the site doesn’t even have real photos available. Instead we’re looking at illustrations showing us how the pleated masks will look in each of the 15 different prints available. The prints include polka dots, plaids, flowers, and hearts.
For $15, you’ll get a three-pack of triple-layer pleated cotton masks with over-the-ear elastic bands.
There are new styles available for adults, as well. And you can feel good about buying these face masks from the Gap, as the company has pledged to donate 50,000 of them to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Canada.
The masks are available for pre-order as of Monday, May 18, and as of this writing, it looks like they won’t be available until June 22. Even for that date, we suggest acting fast, as the demand for attractive, comfortable masks is high.
