Post-Holiday Slim Down: Kim Kardashian Is 'Back to Salads Now'

Kim Kardashian is getting a jumpstart on her New Year’s resolution! The KKW Beauty founder took to Instagram on Wednesday, December 26, to give her millions of followers a peek at her post-holiday diet, and it looks like she plans to stay very disciplined as she ushers in 2019.

Clad in a tummy-bearing white crop top and matching pants, Kardashian, 38, is pictured throwing up a peace sign with one hand and holding a dish full of lettuce leaves in the other. “Back to Salads now,” she captioned the snap.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s new post-holiday eating regimen comes after she spent Christmas Eve partying with her famous friends and family in Los Angeles. On Monday, December 24, Kardashian threw an elaborate holiday bash that attracted the likes of Paris Hilton, Jennifer Lopez and John Legend, and she certainly didn’t skimp on food.

The star-studded soiree boasted white-iced donuts, candied almonds, cakes, and other confections, according to Khloé Kardashian’s Instagram Stories. There was also a hot dog stand and gingerbread house decorating station, because why not?

And believe it or not, that was just the start of the Kardashian-Jenner family’s holiday binge. On Christmas Eve morning, matriarch Kris Jenner took to Instagram to share an array of sweet treats she’d baked for her family ahead of the holiday. The momager extraordinaire showed off an epic gingerbread mansion in addition to four cheesecakes, two lemon cakes and two plates of brownies.

While Kardashian certainly doesn’t need to just limit herself to salads now, we certainly understand the post-holiday impulse, especially given how important maintaining a trim physique is to her. In August, Kardashian revealed she’d lost 20 pounds thanks to intense workouts and dietary restrictions. “I’ve kind of been trained to just eat a lot healthier than I used to. I used to just eat anything and everything and I loved it,” she explained at the time. “And so I really do control that now. … I don’t want to ruin it by just stuffing my face.”

Added the reality star of her weight: “I’m, like, 116 and it just feels good.”
