Philadelphia Eagles’ Carson Wentz and his wife (and their dogs!) are expecting a child

Carson Wentz is looking ahead at many sleepless nights, but the Philadelphia Eagles star will be up late for an amazing reason. On Thanksgiving morning, Wentz his and wife, Madison Oberg, announced that they’re expecting a child.

“So much to be thankful for, but this might take the cake!” the NFL quarterback posted to Instagram Thursday. “What a blessing this child already is and will continue to be to my wife and I. Family is always the most important and we are so thankful for the family of 6 the Lord has blessed us with! Happy Thanksgiving everybody!”

The post starts with shots of the couple’s three golden retrievers prepping for the new arrival. At the top is Henley with a sign that says, “I’m not the only MOM in the house!” Wentz’s two other pups have a book (“How to be a Big Brother”) and a Christmas stocking decorated with an ultrasound.

Wentz and Oberg became engaged two days after the Eagles’ victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII, and married in July 2018.
