Counting her blessings! Nadya Suleman gave her 14 children a sweet social media shoutout on Mother’s Day.
“Thank you to all my wonderfully loving children, (even to my eldest Eli who despises pictures), for creating beautiful art, writing heartwarming notes, and showering me with love,” Suleman, 43, wrote on Instagram on Sunday, May 12. “You are my life. My heart. I love you.”
In the photo, 10 of her kids smiled at the camera from around a table covered in cards and flowers.

Been recently reflecting on how blessed I truly am. Mother’s Day can be an emotionally painful day for many. I feel your sadness. Throughout the six years of infertility (including miscarriages) I struggled with nearly 25 years ago, I believed God would never bless me with children. Unbeknownst to me back then, He had a plan greater than I could fathom. I learned to be patient, trusting, and accepting of the process throughout my obstacle laden journey. I am grateful for the battles I’ve fought, and the challenges I continue to face, as they have forged, shaped and strengthened me into the mom I am today. For those of you who have lost your mom (as I had over four years ago) or perhaps experienced the most devastating of all loses, a child…I can only hope and pray God bestows upon you some semblance of peace.Thank you to all my wonderfully loving children, (even to my eldest Eli who despises pictures), for creating beautiful art, writing heartwarming notes, and showering me with love. The California native also opened up in the caption about why the holiday could also be “emotionally painful” for her and many other moms.

The woman known as “Octomom” made headlines in 2009 for giving birth to octuplets, six boys and two girls conceived via in vitro fertilization. She already had six other children.
Suleman told The Times in December 2018 that all of her kids are vegan, but eat in shifts. The little ones also help out with cooking and some sleep on the couch. While she isn’t in contact with the sperm donor who fathered her brood, her octuplets will “maybe” meet him when they turn 18.
