There’s a famous saying (er, that we just made up) that goes something like this: Those who can’t afford it, reasonably buy their children accessories on a budget. But those who can, buy their children…designer goods? But hey, because we’re leaving #momshaming in 2019, it’s not our place to judge Kim Kardashian for gifting her 6-year-old, North West, with a $10,000 Hermès Birkin for Kanye’s Mary opera at Lincoln Center.
On Sunday night, the little fashionista paired her lavish handbag with white boots, a pearl choker, and space bun style hair. As for her full ensemble, she wore a robe customized by Kim Kardashian’s clothing brand — SKIMS Cozy Collection. All things considered, it’s very possible that the mom of four lent North her Birkin for the night. I mean, haven’t we all played dress-up with our mom’s clothes when we were younger? (Even now, I sneak into my mom’s closet to see what vintage goodies I can find.)
As it was a very special night for the Kardashian clan, North and Saint were treated to desserts at Serendipity’s ice cream shop, E! News reports. Now, they’re back in Los Angeles in time for Christmas festivities. Their annual Kardashian Family Christmas Party isn’t till tonight, but Kris Jenner already bought Stormi a life-sized dollhouse that her mom Kylie used to have as a kid. “This just reminds me of when you were a little girl. I love you so much. I want you to have the same memories with your daughter,” Kris told Kylie on her VLOG.
Of course, with life-size dollhouses and birkins comes trolls who are like the Grinch who ruined Christmas. One commenter wrote, “Overindulgent parents raise kids with no concept of the value of money” while another wrote “Humility?” Even with haters, the Kardashians continue to be good moms to their kids and block out those that detest their extravagant lifestyles.
